Story

Founded in 1952 in the Bolivian capital of La Paz, Club Mariscal Braun has one of the most distinctive origins in South American football. The club was established by workers of Cervecería Boliviana Nacional, Bolivia's largest brewery, earning the enduring nickname Los Cerveceros ("The Brewers"). Its name honors Otto Philipp Braun, the German-born military leader who became one of Bolivia's most celebrated marshals.

Wearing their iconic black and white colors, Mariscal Braun quickly became one of the strongest clubs in La Paz. The club has won the La Paz Football Association championship seven times and earned promotion to Bolivia's top flight after finishing runner-up in the 1999 Copa Simón Bolívar. Between 2000 and 2002, Mariscal Braun competed in the Bolivian Primera División, playing home matches at the legendary Estadio Hernando Siles, one of the highest professional football stadiums in the world.

Today, Mariscal Braun remains a historic name in Bolivian football. Built on working-class roots and a proud local identity, the club continues its pursuit of returning to the country's highest level while carrying forward the legacy of one of La Paz's most respected football institutions.

They are making their way up, getting promoted to the second division last season as they strive to go back to the very top. We are excited to support them on this journey!
