CD Municipal Limeño

Hailing from a small city in east El Salvador, C.D. Municipal Limeño was founded in 1949. Years of ping ponging between the first, second and third division made this wonderful club resilient and appreciative of its sweet moments.

Such moments of glory against all odds, through the tough times show up every once in a while. And it takes the entire community around this small club by a storm!

Last season, they had such a season. To the surprise of everyone in the league, Municipal Limeño got to the finals of the clausura! A massive achievement for a team aiming towards some more good years. Prior to that, Municipal Limeño only reached the second place twice - in the 1999 and 2000 Aperturas.

We hope this is a start of a golden generation that will help Municipal Limeño finally break its glass window and win some silverware. We'll be here to support! And obviously admire their logo :)
