Story

Mauriki FC is a wonderful rising force in Vanuatuan football. The club was only founded in 2008 to represent Mele Village with their foremost focus on youth development. Mauriki wanted to become a uniting force in the region, and started to recruit young players from other villages and groups in the country. Their guiding message is "divided in bloodlines but united in football".

Mauriki, or the Warriors in the local language, started in the lower leagues. They had a brief stint in the top division in 2016 and 2017, but it was in the past 5 years that the club has established itself as a top 4 club in the country.

This year they won the local cup beating the most decorated club in recent years Ifira Black Birds in the finals. They are not looking to slow down, and their young core led by the one-in-a-generation talent Nicolas King is looking to establish themselves as the biggest club in Vanuatu.

We love these kind of stories and are here to support!
