Story
Zimbabwean powerhouse Dynamos FC has been a great force in African football from practically day 1 of its inception. The club was founded in 1963 after a merger between two local teams - Salisbury City and Salisbury United, and won the local league on its first season!
The Glamour Boys, nicknamed for their entertaining style in their formative years, is one of the most popular teams in the country. This legendary club made it to the CAF Champions League a mind-boggling 17 times, and even reached the finals once in 1998 only to lose to the great ASEC Mimosas of Ivory Coast.
Dynamos FC's most recent wonder years were between 2011 and 2014 where they won the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League consecutively. Last season they were close, finishing third in the league. Let’s show our love to Dynamos FC and support their climb back to the African football elite!
