Story
Paro Football Club was founded in 2018 by a group of families passionate about football and determined to improve the standard of the sport in Bhutan. Paro FC's founding principles include promoting football, maintaining close ties with the community, and fostering a sense of belongingness. The club aims to serve the community through sports and contribute to Bhutan's philosophy of Gross National Happiness through sports development activities.
Paro FC made its debut in the 2018 Bank of Bhutan National League and secured the runners-up trophy. The club has since won several championships, including the Jigme Dorji Wangchuck Memorial Gold Cup and the BOB Bhutan Premier League. Paro FC has also represented Bhutan in international competitions, including the AFC Cup.
In the most recent season, Paro FC won the league without losing a single match. The Invincibles of Bhutan!
